203591 - 203591 - RFP-EWSI-9K-AB-ED- MSA Mechanical Services

The purpose of this RFP is to engage Contractors to supply Mechanical services on an “as required” basis as directed by EPCOR’s Representative. These services will be used to supplement the requirements for the completion of various maintenance activities. EPCOR is seeking Contractors to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective Mechanical Contracting solutions for day-to-day maintenance and larger projects across EPCOR sites on an as required basis. 

This Contract will be awarded to three (3) proponents: a Primary Contractor, a Secondary Contractor, and a Tertiary Contractor. The proponent with the highest evaluation score will be designated as the Primary Contractor, the second highest as the Secondary Contractor, and the third highest as the Tertiary Contractor. The Contracts will remain in effect for up to seven (7) years, consisting of an initial three (3) year term and two (2) optional extension periods of two (2) years each.

The allocation of work to Primary Contractor, Secondary Contractor, and Tertiary Contractor will be as follows (in relation to EPCOR Water Services Inc.):

 

• For projects valued at less than $100,000, work will be assigned directly to the Primary Contractor. If the Primary Contractor declines or is unable to perform the work, the opportunity will be offered to the Secondary Contractor. For projects valued at $100,000 or greater, a Project Request will be issued to all three (3) Contractors and work assigned following receipt and review by EPCOR.
