The Scope of Work consists of, but is not limited to the design, manufacturing, factory routine and pre-delivery testing, supply, offloading to foundation at substation site, supervision of installation and pre-commissioning tests, and commissioning support of four (4) transformers (listed below), including all required materials and labour for normal operation of the transformer. All transformers will be delivered to and commissioned in Edmonton, Alberta. As per the table below, there are two (2) types of transformers. EPCOR may award to more than one Successful Proponent(s), one award for type 1 and another for type 2. The award of the Work (whether it be one Successful Proponent for both types of transformers or two Successful Proponents (one for type 1 and type 2), as the submissions as they relate to both types will be evaluated independently.
Note: EPCOR intends on issuing an initial Purchase Order to the Successful Proponent for only a production slot reservation, if required, and not the whole Contact Price for the transformers. The anticipated full Contract Price Purchase Order is estimated to be issued in Q4 2024 once full budgetary approval has been confirmed. The final Contract Price Order is subject to the budgetary approvals. |
