The Biosolids for the Edmonton Region are produced from the Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant (GBWWTP) and the Alberta Capital Region Wastewater Treatment Plant (ACRWC). The Biosolids are anaerobically digested sludge from the wastewater treatment processes at GBWWTP and ACRWC. The Biosolids are gravity thickened at the Clover Bar lagoons and dewatered using centrifuges, prior to it being transported for beneficial use application. 

The successful contractor will be responsible for removing a minimum 9,000 dry tonnes per year of biosolids from cell 5, dewatering to minimum 21% total solids, temporary stockpile, loading transport trucks and scale monitoring. Coordination with biosolids end use project contractor is required. The location of the work is the EPCOR Clover Bar lagoons.
