The intent of this RFQ is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).

The purpose of this requirement is to address an audit finding that identified the need for consistent use of chlorine (CL2) monitors in chemical/membrane buildings at the Gold Bar WWTP, irrespective of the duration of stay. The current protocol inaccurately indicates that CL2 monitors are not necessary for stays under 15 minutes in these buildings. This will be amended to mandate the use of CL2 monitors at all times in these areas. To resolve this issue, the proposed solution is to implement a single monitor with CL2 capabilities, thereby eliminating the need for personnel to wear dual monitors. After evaluating its options, Gold Bar Maintenance has selected the Dräger X-am® 5000 series of gas detectors.
