While this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is issued by EPCOR, all services, equipment, prices, terms and conditions, presentations and promotional materials contained in any submission (the “Reply”, as defined below) may, at EPCOR’s sole discretion, apply to any or all of the EPCOR Entities (as defined below).

The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of (1) developing show drawings of covers to enclose the air headspace over primary clarifiers 5-8; and (2) fabricating such covers if they are selected for design and implementation. The overall scope of work for supply of the cover and walkway system shall be issued in two stages:

•           Stage 1 – Development of Shop Drawings

•           Stage 2 – Fabrication and Site Services

Although all stages will be reviewed as part of the RFP evaluation, only Stage 1 (Development of Shop Drawings) will be initially issued at contract award. Stage 2 (Fabrication and Site Services) shall be awarded by the Owner or novated to the prime contractor pending the overall timelines and schedule constraints yet to be determined. The Owner reserves the right to either proceed or cancel Stage 2 (Fabrication and Site Services) at their discretion. An associated ventilation system (out of scope; provided by others) is being implemented and will be connected to the odour control covers via ductwork. This ductwork will convey the captured foul air into the centralized duct network, where it will be treated by one or more of the Plant’s existing wet chemical scrubbers. The Scope of Work only covers the shop drawings and potential supply of the odour control covers and not the associated ductwork or ventilation. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).
