| Description: |
EPCOR is seeking a qualified contractor for the installation of 96-strand single-mode fibre optic cables. The project consists of two separate sections known hereafter as FO-34 and FO-35. FO-34 is from the Riverview Substation across the Anthony Henday and along E.L. Smith Road to the E.L. Smith Water Treatment Plant. The fiber optic cable runs from the southwest corner of the building utilizing existing cable trays to the control centre located inside the E.L. Smith Water Treatment Plant. FO-35 is from the Riverview Substation to the existing AltaLink Pull Box SP#16 located southwest of the substation by approximately 100m. Installation will be in 3” HDPE pipe. The termination of the cable will be performed by the Owner. The Work is split into three sections based on work type: Cable Pulling, Civil Works and Aerial Messenger.
