The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in Appendix 1 (Information).

EPCOR is performing modifications and additions to two substations: Poundmaker and Meadowlark Substations, both in Edmonton, Alberta, and is seeking a qualified contractor for the electrical construction at both substations (for clarity, EPCOR does not intend to split the Work among multiple contractors, but to award all Work at both substations to one contractor, under two separate Contracts, Contract A – Poundmaker Substation and Contract B - Meadowlark Substation). Work includes all goods and services not herein specifically mentioned but which are found necessary to complete or perfect the Work or any portion of the Work in compliance with the requirements of the Contract documents and technical specifications attached in Schedule “D” Attachments in Appendix 1. Scope includes but is not limited to: electrical equipment installation and commissioning, grounding, trenwa/duct bank installation, transformer installation and oil filling and control cable pulling and termination.  Complete details are provided in Appendix 1 (Information).

EPCOR makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in this RFP. The Proponent is responsible for making its own evaluation of information and data contained in this RFP and in preparing and submitting its Reply.

 Only those Proponents who sign and submit a Confidentiality Agreement will be given access to the entire bid package  in an invite-only RFP and be permitted to submit a Reply.
