EPCOR is constructing a new substation building and expanding the existing switchyard at Garneau substation (a 72/15kV substation located at 11117 – 85 Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta) and is seeking a qualified contractor for the construction of the substation. Work includes all goods and services not herein specifically mentioned but which are found necessary to complete or perfect the Work or any portion of the Work in compliance with the requirements of the Contract documents and technical specifications. Scope includes but is not limited to the following: a) substation earthworks b) site preparation c) substation grounding for the expansion d) duct bank installation e) transformer pad and containment pit installations f) fence construction g) insulating gravel for the switchyard h) construction of the substation building including foundations and roofing i) water and sanitary systems for the new building j) landscaping
