The intent of this RFPQ is to prequalify Proponents to participate in a two second-stage competitive processes for the potential provision of the Work. A more detailed description of the Work can be found in the attached Appendix 1 (Information).

The Work is expected to occur in two stages. The Work involves the construction of two (2) phosphoric injection systems in Edmonton, Alberta, one at the E.L. Smith Water Treatment Plant and the other in the Rossdale Water Treatment Plant. Only proponents that are prequalified in this RFPQ(Stage 1) will be invited to provide pricing & further details for the E.L. Smith Water Treatment Plant phosphoric injection system (Stage 2A) and for the Rossdale Water Treatment Plant phosphoric injection system (Stage 2B). The Stage 2A (E.L. Smith Works) request for proposal is expected to be available to prequalified proponents of Stage 1 in late February, 2021. The Stage 2B (Rossdale Works) request for proposal is expected to be available to successful proponents of Stage 1 in late July, 2021.
