EPCOR is seeking a Supplier for the provision of rental generators complete with delivery and  connection services on an as-required basis. 

The mobile generators are for planned outages to EPCOR’s customers. EPCOR will give a minimum two-week notice to the Successful Proponent prior to a planned outage outlining EPCOR’s requirement for a rental mobile generators. The generators will be used by EPCOR in the City of Edmonton and in 15 kV or 25 kV voltage environments.

EPCOR reserves the right to award a Contract to more than one Proponent.  EPCOR’s intention is to award, preferably, two contracts: a primary and a backup. A right of first refusal is to be given to the primary contract holder. EPCOR reserves the option to transact with either a backup Contract holder, or single source the Work elsewhere if the primary Contract holder can not meet EPCOR’s requirements.

The Successful Proponent(s) will enter into a three-year Contract with EPCOR’s option to extend for two (2) additional one-year terms. EPCOR does not intend to have the Successful Proponent(s) reserve any mobile generator, requiring payment for standby, for EPCOR use.

EPCOR reserves the right to visit and inspect the facilities of all short listed Proponents.
